GUILFORD COURTHOUSE & HOSKINS HOUSE

These are 28mm resin buildings from JR Miniatures and are based on the Guilford Courthouse and Hoskins House buildings at the famous Battle of Guilford Courthouse during the American War of Independence.
This is a rather big project that I am slowly working on and eventually hope to do the same with this as I did with my iSandlwana and Rorke's Drift project.

As this post is a bit sparse, I have included a few shots of some of my AWI . These are not Guilford Courthouse related just a filler for this post.

Next week........Some images of my new project.

Cheers,

Pat.

  9. Pat, those are great buildings! I believe they were originally produced by Architectural Heritage and then picked up by JR. I have a lot of their 15mm buildings and they are my favorites. I;m looking forward to seeing what you do with this scenario! Cheers - Cory

  13. Stunning eye candy. Haystacks that actually look like haystacks rather than blobs of resin. Great stuff.

  15. Terrific - I can't wait to see how you do this battle and no doubt we'll have some excellent photos to slobber over. I've never heard of JR Miniatures. I'd thought the only Guilford buildings on the market were the Grand Manner noes (which I'd have to sell the kids to buy...).

    Best wishes

Giles, the 'J R Miniatures' buildings you can buy from www.magistermilitum.com and sell for £32 for the courthouse and £20 each for Hoskins House and kitchen.

  19. Hi Pat,

    These look fantastic!!!

I have tried contacting you via email but the email bounced for some reason?
I am very interested in the Zulu War Collection as a whole, with the terrain pieces you may have to go with it as well, I am looking at starting a Gaming Centre "Wargames Head Quarters" down here in Devon and I am looking for collections such as yours.

Can we discuss price etc., and any other goods you may have coming available soon?

    Regards,
    Nathan

    1. Hi Nathan,
I sent you an email a couple of days ago and one previous to that with your first email. As I had not heard from you I have now just sold the collection for the full asking price to another party.
Best wishes for the future with your wargames holiday centre.
      Pat.
